This foam padded chair is perfect for long hours of gaming use and is extremely lightweight. In addition, if you want to relax while watching your favorite DVD or getting immersed in your favorite music, this chair is perfect. The fact that it folds in half making it small enough to fit just about anywhere is a plus as well.
There ARE two small drawbacks to the X Rocker, but these are more personal preference than anything. First of all, the foam core of this chair, while making it lightweight and easily portable, also make it feel a bit weak and perhaps TOO lightweight. For instance, if one of your buddies checks in at over 300 pounds, he may not want to plop down on this chair and that may be the chair’s last PLOP. Also, while this is not a NECESSARY function of a quality gaming chair, it is nice when you can feel the vibrations along with the game. This one does not feature an interactive vibration feature as some other higher priced models do. Call me a gaming geek, but I like to bounce and shake along with the on-screen explosions so I did miss it a bit on this model.
Other than that, no complaints. The chair features multi-input jacks to allow you to hook up to various audio sources, independent volume and bass controls, and the arm rests even fold up for those gamers who feel that get in the way. For the price of this gaming chair, the quality is spot on. If hours of gaming are part of your weekly ritual, X Rocker Gaming Chair won’t let you down.
